BACKGROUND INFORMATION

I have a vast background of public accounting and business expertise which has been acquired through my years of studies along with my work experience, having graduated from Schulich School of Business  (York University's Business School)
with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree (B.B.A.) and undergoing further studies and exams to obtain my
Chartered Accountant Designation in 1989.

Over the past 15 years (since 1987)  I have prepared numerous personal and corporate tax returns ranging from simple to more complex situations.   I have a vast range of work experience having articled with two of the large Public Accounting firms Pricewaterhouse Coopers (Formerly Laventhol & Horwath) and KPMG.

I have experience in a number of different industries ranging from personal tax preparation of a simple return to more complex situations involving rollovers, estate freezes.   I have also been involved in valuation of security companies, the selling process, acquisitions and due dilegence including audit of purchase price and price adjustments.

I have experience with clients in the retail business including clothing, drug store chains,  service industries including alarm sales and monitoring, real estate brokerage and real estate developers, printers, manufacturing, hotel industry, distributors-importers of household items, toys and carpets, and large public companies.    The majority of my clients have been Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs.      I have also been hired to perform work for other Chartered Accountant's and their clients.

I have plenty of hands on experience as a controller in the service industry.  I have also been a consultant to one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage companies in the country and now am a business owner myself.   I am computer literate and open to new technology as a way to improve systems and efficiency.   I am aware of the many problems and challenges being faced in todays business environment.

I am a member of the Network of Independant Chartered Accountants (NICA) and have a network of other professionals available to assist me and my clients if required.

I am a Full-Time Chartered Accountant operating as a Sole Practitioner my practice concentrates all of its business to Serve the Needs of Small Business and Entrepreneurs.  I offer my clients personalized service and am available during the day and by appointments on Evenings and Weekends.  My goal is to be your Full Service Accountant.  My clients are Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Personal Tax clients and other Chartered Accountants.

My office is centrally located to serve Metro Toronto and Surrounding Areas, directly across from the Bathurst-Sheppard Plaza, on the South West side of Sheppard Avenue, located at 629 Sheppard Avenue West.  (Click here for a map).
